The Hutchinson family has deep roots in the community stemming back to the first days of the Waynoka Snake Hunt. The first organized hunt took place on the Hutchinson ranch. This is where the Waynoka Saddle Club came together to reduce the population of rattle snakes in the area. Years later it would become the famous event it is today.
